Welcome to our new blog enabledforlife.com. The main goal of this blog is to speak and advocate on behalf of the disabled community. We are mainly focused on the New Zealand Disabled community.

We kindly welcome you on this journey with us. To meet our objectives. We have set three key goals and outcomes.

Goal one: To advocate on behalf of the disabled community.

Over the past couple of years, the disabled community has been through many setbacks.

We have heard that for some people, the changes had no effect. For others, the changes meant that they were unable to receive the support. The criteria need some work.

We are hitting more barriers than we had previously expected. Fairness, access to services, and disability rights are being neglected. It is a difficult time to be in the disabled community and a disability advocate.

Goal two: To encourage and break barriers for the disabled community.

This may be a challenging goal for us.

As the disabled community has a wide spread of individuals. With a variety of conditions that affect us differently. No two people are alike and we are individuals in our own way. For that reason, we have a wide range of views, opinions and perspectives. Hopefully, we will be able to share those stories and make a positive change for our people.

Goal three: To encourage growth in daily lives and life skills.

As a disabled person myself, it’s the small wins every day that help us through the day. Here and enabledforlife, we aim to provide you with content that can help you in your daily lives. Either at home or in your work life. We must value our self-worth and celebrate the Small successes.

In conclusion

We aim to provide:
